Where are you from?

How did you hear about roller derby?

From a former coach who I went to school with and also skated with.

What was it about roller derby that interested you?

I can hit people while I skate.

What is your "real life" occupation?

I am a mother and have also been with Verizon for 18 years.

What is your worst derby-related injury to date?

Never been hurt in derby yet, but I twisted my knee Jell-O wrestling for the Derby Girls.

Please list a crazy unknown fact about yourself.

I got caught smoking in the girl's bathroom at school and I also hit a teacher while they were breaking up a fight I was in. Oops! Also, while growing up, the ER knew me by my first name... They would say, "What did you do now?"

How did you come up with your skate name?

My hubby said, "Mayhem fits you," so I went with it. My brother gave me my number, M80, because I am loud, obnoxious, and when I go off, it's like fireworks explode loudly. FWDG have not seen this side of me.

What do you like best about derby?

The friends I have made, the Travel Team, and hitting people we don't know.

Educational background:

I graduated from high school in 1988 and then went to work full time.

On which FWDG committees do you serve?

Street Team and Marketing.

What is your favorite FWDG memory?

Making the Travel Team.

Misc:

I Love my Family. I have 2 older brothers and 3 older sisters, and I also have 5 nephews, 2 nieces, and now today, I have 2 great nephews and 2 great nieces... I love all sports: roller derby, swimming, basketball, softball, water-skiing, snow skiing, snowmobiling, and I love working in my yard in the spring. Then I can enjoy it all summer while I lounge in the pool. I would also like to mention that I skate in memory of my sister, Julie.
